Emily’s story: An Award Winning Walk Home

I’m walking home from winning an award, on Cloud 9. I see a group of dudes on the corner. One starts yelling in an aggressive tone, “Hey beautiful! Hey beautiful!”
I ignore. He continues.
“Get home safely! Hey beautiful, get home safe!”
How ironic. I felt totally safe until you and your gaggle of dudes started screaming at me to be safe.
“I’ve got jungle fever, lady.”
Well honey, we’ve all got problems. But this one isn’t mine.
