Join us at the annual NYC Anti-Street Harassment Rally, as part of International Anti-Street Harassment Week.
This year’s NYC Anti-Street Harassment Rally is in Washington Square Park on April 11th, starting at 2pm.

The event will feature local activists and speakers and will include a series of workshops for folks to learn more and take action against street harassment. It’ll also feature Hollaback!’s famous 12 foot inflatable #catagainstcatcalling, Hiss!

Emcee: Queen GodIs – an international (Poet, Performance Artist, Artistic Director & Performance Art Therapist) whose work serves a host of communities seeking transformation through art. She has written and performed three off-Broadway shows including Birth of Power U (2007), directed by Tamilla Woodard, Untitled: To Huemen (2008) directed by Una Osato & presented in conjunction with the Hip Hop Theater Festival, and Project Power U Revisited: A Choreo- poem (2009) choreographed by director Nicco Annan & commissioned by the New York Live Arts Studio Residency Series.

According to the Washington Post, 2014 was the year the conversation around street harassment hit a tipping point. On March 5th, let’s take the conversation to the next level at this year’s HOLLA::Rev. Come join leading thinkers and activists in the field to expand the definitions of street harassment and discuss what each of us can do to create on-the-ground activism in our communities. The event runs from 2-5 pm EST in NYC – get your tickets today!
